Canyon Lake Water Service Company

Canyon Lake Water Service Company.(CLWSC) is planning a major water rate increase for 2010-2011.  It appears to be HUGE and could cover up to 3 years.  July 13th CLWSC will hold a public meeting at Canyon Lake Golf Club at 6 pm.  All residents and businesses are encouraged to attend (CLWSC will be sending out an official announcement, momentarily).

The Steering Committee for the Coalition for Equitable Water Rates has attempted to represent customers served by CLWSC.  We have conducted several meeting with CLWSC management.  It now appears, however, they are unwilling to negiotate.  They plan to submit their water filing to the State of Texas TCEQ August 2nd with the substantially higher rates becoming effective October 1, 2010.

The Canyon Lake Golf Club is located just north of the Hwy 3159 and Hwy 2573 intersection at the Lake.
