Neighborhood Watch Committee
Mountain Springs Ranch has an active Neighborhood Watch Program headed by Roy Nishi. Neighborhood Watch operates on the principle of neighbors getting to know and watch out for each other, and watching out for each others property. Neighborhood Watch has area coordinators and block captains in each neighborhood within Mountain Springs Ranch. Neighborhood or local information should be sent to Roy Nishi who will forward it on to neighborhood watch coordinators and block captains who will see that the information gets to their neighbors in Mountain Springs Ranch. What to do if you see suspicious activity
The individual who observes suspicious activity or is the victim of a crime should immediately report the infomation to the Comal County Sheriff's Office at 1-800-620-3400. If it is an emergency, dial 911. When in doubt, call it in. The Sheriff's office would rather investigate than be called in too late. Write down license numbers and descriptions of suspicious-looking vehicles and persons. After making a report to the Comal County Sheriff's Department, notify Neighborhood Watch to send the information to your neighbors in Mountain Springs Ranch.
What not to do if you see suspicious activity
Do not confront or try to apprehend a suspicious person.
